ODNR Dam Safety: Probable Maximum Flood Fact Sheet - A detailed look at Probable Maximum Floods (PMFs). Includes the background and determination of PMF and Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) values, as well as the history of storms that resulted in dam failures in Ohio.
ODNR Probable Maximum Precipitation Application Guidelines - Describes the guidelines for determining Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) values under the Ohio Administrative Code. These values are used to calculate Probable Maximum Flood (PMF).
Inundation Study and Hazard Classification Guidance - Provides assistance in conducting an inundation study and in assessing the downstream hazard classification posed by a dam failure.
